Homesick

I’m listening to the Triple J Hottest 100 at work from number 100 down to 1. I am homesick.

I’ve just had Vegemite on toast for lunch. I bought a slab of Foster’s for everyone at work (admittedly I won’t drink any of it… OK, maybe one for a laugh… and to prevent me from crying). I’ve looked at pictures of Don Burke (I actually said Hoo-roo once too), Ayers Rock, Kangaroos, Steve Irwin, John Howard (still the person I hate most in this world) and even a picture of Scott & Charlene tieing the knot.

All I can say is: Thank Bloody Christ I got my tickets to Australia in the post today. Thank Bloody Christ.

Your mate ‘ Little Johnnie ‘ just discovered climate change and realised how therre was a water crisis—so therefore $10 billion to fix irrigation issues in an election year–what a creep!!!!!
Talk about London weather–just been watering Nan’s garden–only allowed for 2 hours 6-8 am and 8-10 pm Tues and Sat and had to have a warm shower when I goty home–it was so cold!!!!
Promise loads of VB on your imminent return–Take care–Dad.

PS –you should have seen Gonzalez whip Haas last night–might even beat Federer

It is ironic that Ross of all people finds justification to bag out Howard.

Anyway…enough leftie-’isn’t it fashionable to hate the right’-annoyingness from you lot.

I watched the Hottest 100 countdown live in Hyde Park Sydney for a while. I I felt really cool until I realised I was the oldest person there. I left. I watched the making of ‘Dusty the musical’ instead. Sad. Except I met the Director of Dusty, Stuart Maunder, last night at Mazda Opera in the Domain which was cool.

When you come home there’ll be lots of fresh fruit, fruit crumbles,
organic food galore, a comfortable queen size bed in your own room,
a faithful dog to keep you company, and your mother hanging over
your every word! Enjoy it!

You never thought you’d have your own personal stalker in the form of your mother did you!
