Went to Mr Scruff on Saturday at the Forum in Kentish Town. Can’t believe I’ve only just found out about this bloke. Scruff is a Mancunian on the Ninja Tunes label who plays a minimum 5 hour set - insane! We arrived at about 11pm thinking he’d just be starting but he was halfway through.
The music is a nice mix of funk/reggae/hiphop/electronic. Danced until about 4am. Hence the request for cricket scores at 5am Mum and Dad! They had some really cool video displays - when a big beat was coming the screens flashed red and said “Warning” and then “Big baseline alert”. There’s also all of these cartoon character popping up on screen. Quality.

You are a freak. On the top of your page is a body count register for Iraq, and on the right hand side (appropriately) is a rich list counter. Irony at it’s greatest. Which way DO you vote? DLP??
