A promise to detox after last weekend’s exploits lasted 3 days. Thursday night was a couple bottles of red and beers in Bond St. Friday was beer, sambucca, whisky and white wine (not in one glass) at work followed by a few beers at the Social in Oxford St and then Madame Jo Jo’s in SOHO - including some amazing reggae/funk/hip hop. I have a new music obsession. Last night watched the England match (0-0 draws are not the most amazing sporting events) joined by 3 long necks of Sam Smiths Ale and then went out to the Clapham Grand for a workmate’s birthday. Corny tunes, vast quantities of booze and a good night. Detox planned again for this week.
I bought my first leather jacket at Portobello Market yesterday. Leather jackets are great. I bought my second one, different colour, 20 minutes later. I have enough leather jackets to last me for a while. Also bought another striped jumper - those things better not go out of fashion or i’m fucked.
Sun still shines in London. When you leave us, you will be sorely missed.
The motivation to find a home is slowly gathering momentum - and moss along the way.
Our company is now using completely green electricity thanks to Ecotricity and last week I made recycled notepads for everyone in the office. Take all printed paper scrap, turn it over, staple it together and write Trees Love You on the top. You’ll never be fonder of another notepad.

Most of the old stories have now been uploaded. I’m missing a few and the majority of the comments which is not great, but that just means we have to make some more.
It’s been a massive weekend of sporting tragedies for me. Huge Friday, too huge, got home at 5am after downing approximately 81 beers to watch the AFL Grand Final (couldn’t resist) and passed out in the dorm lounge room. Re-awoke with 15 minutes to play in the last quarter - looked like a great game, but who cares. I was barracking for the Eagles though, got to love Woosha and Chris Judd has now won everything possible in the AFL at the age of 23, pretty awesome.
Today watched another stab to the heart for Melburnians in the NRL Grand Final. Absolutely robbed by the referees. Then watched my favourite in the F1, Alonso, get toppled by the cheating Ferrari’s. The only remaining hope for salvation is the news that the Spurs are up 2-1 at home against Portsmouth at half time. Carn the Spurs!
I got paid on Friday, I think I told you that 5 times already. So yesterday went on a bit of a shopping spree for winter clothes. Oh well, pay day is only a month away. See you round like a record, sucker.
