Huge week of work this week, I am very sore and tired and so happy that our housemates had a party last night and kept me up until about 7am. Thankfully they are computer illiterate and I can bag them out at will on here, without their noticing. I don’t care too much, but when there are 5 blokes passed out in our hallway and it takes me 4 minutes to navigate my way to the loo then its a little frustrating.
Not much to report over the last week or so. Tam and Ben finally departed our shores headed to South Africa, sad to see them go. I think Fi’s cousin Bev has had the baby (or is in immense pain and will be telling the kid for the rest of their life about how painful the birth was) today or last night. Sarah’s boyfriend Scott and his bro Glen arrived on Thursday, we had planned to have 3 big nights while he was here, they have all been 2 pot screamers due to my tiredness from work and their jetlag (36 hour flight, ouch!), massive night tonight if we can stay awake. Bought Scott a slab of coopers pale ale from the aussie shop so he doesn’t have to drink the crap English beer. Haven’t got my pressies from the family yet (poor Scott had to lug over all the goods) but am told a Sherrin awaits me, very exciting! We are taking the boys out to Portobello Rd today and they’re down to Clapham tonight to check out our pad. It’s been bloody freezing the last few days and raining a fair bit, we had blue sky’s and snow yesterday, figure that one out. Thanks Fiona’s mum for the lollies during the week, I have almost finished them off sadly, my parents never taught me restraint.
I am going to try and definetly do at least one set of photos today and maybe the rest tomorrow. If there are no photos by next week then send hate mail, again. Love to all.
Congratulation Bev and Steve on the birth of Emily! As a special celebration I have put up two new photo galleries. Can’t wait to see you in Southport!
Only marginally less exciting than having a baby, we got Glastonbury tickets! Biggest open air festival in the world, 120,000 tickets sold out in 3 hours. Initial lineup includes Kylie Minogue, John Butler Trio, Coldplay, White Stripes, Garbage, Doves, Elvis Costello, Van Morrison and heaps of other huge acts to be confirmed. Should be bloody cool, we know quite a few people going and apparently its 4 of the best days in your life, if you remember any of it (something in the water I believe).

Hi Guys, Well, it’s all confirmed, I’m leaving for the UK on May 27th and arriving on June 3rd. No, I’m not swiming over, I’m stopping over in Japan for 7 nights to have some of the hospitality we showed the Yr12 exchange students repaid. Cam, hope you’re not working yourself too hard. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….Just make Fi get a better job and you won’t have to work….I see no problem with this plan….adopt it as your own….live the dream. I’ll be bringing my Sherrin over with me (have you got a pump or will I have to bring one?). Also, how do I set up my own travelogue? I think it’s much better than sending mass emails to ppl. Let me know if there’s anything *else you want me to bring over. Hope you’re all well, and I’ll be seein ‘ya soon!!! *Edibles may or may not be consumed in transit.

In response to your plaintive pleas for input! Observations follow: Chris’s comments are the greatest mish mash of mixed metaphors and frustrated football coaches cliches I’ve ever read!! He couldn’t swim that fast in his dreams, speaking of which he’s probably salivating over the prospect of 18 year old Japanese exchange students. Why does he think you have a pump? Chris—please call me for an Unclerly chat before you leave or else I’ll have to attend your farewell!! And by the way your golf clubs are clogging our garage! By the way Cam and Fi —hope you are well —where are the Wales photos? Pity about Chelsea, go Ipswich ( and the Mighty Catters!!)and the last photos were great. Take care Luv Dad PS. Which edibles does he plan to consume in transit?

Ross, Ross, Ross. How did your family ever produce offspring who’s literary prospects are about as fruitful as Brisbane’s in winning another grand final after losing dismally, nay discracefully, to the Mighty Western Bulldogs last Saturday. In rebuttal to your superfluous use of the English language, observations follow: - From the self professed ‘Master of English’ himself, I was surprised and even shocked to see that a basic schoolboy error was made. I believe, and please correct me if I’m wrong, but coaches is plural, and if you are referring to the cliches of multiple coaches, then you should have written “frustrated Football coaches’ cliches”. - 18Yr old Japanese Exchange Students. Firstly, if they’re in their own country, they’re not exchange students, and secondly they’re no longer 18! - Why would I think Campbell has a pump. Good point, I don’t know. He’s not old enough to need to use one yet. - Golf Clubs clogging your garage. I did ask for them to be ‘extended’ not ‘expanded’. I know I’m taller than you dear Uncle, but you didn’t need to make yourself feel any worse. Either that, or your garage is very small. - “Uncerly chat”. Good to see your time out of the workforce was usefully spent making up new words. - Mighty Catters……well, need I say anything more. No, in fairness they are doing really well and I wish them the best this season (No, I really do. If I don’t say this, Campbell may not let me stay with him!) Aaaahhhh…as fun as it always is to have a verbal ‘tate-a-tate’ In all seriousness now, hope everyone is keeping well. Ross, I believe we’ll be catching up the weekend after my going away party and I’ll get the clubs then. Cam & Fi, hope works going well and you’re not getting too tired to enjoy yourselves. I’ll be getting you to show me the nightlife, so reserve your strength!! Love to all and catch you soon, Chris. PS. Uncle Ross did want to give me edible undies, but I decided (I think wisely) against it.

Pity that Chris is now clogging your web site as well as my garage!! Also a pity that he has confused the spelling of tete -a- tete with his sisters name! But then to support the Bulldogs—surely its safe to live in Willy without having to barrack for the local junior side. And besides its expected that the Imrays support the blue blood Catters. Even Bracksie can live in Willy and go Catters–C’mon Chris!!?? Hey Cam and Fi hope you are well and doing the tourist thing this weekend. Take care. Luv Dad
