Chocolates, rabbits, fish for lunch on Good Friday; I had none of these things this Easter, instead we went to Scotland. I would almost trade Scotland for one of my Mum’s meals, but that’s just because Mum’s cooking is sensational and I am a spoilt kid.
Friday morning we were greeted with blue skies in Glasgow. Beautiful town, full of these huge sandstone buildings, so much sandstone, you cannot imagine. Glasgow has a very young vibe to it, lots of great pubs and 3 - 4 universities within cooee of each other. Took a tour on the tourist bus around Glasgow, which despite my concerns, was actually quite good. We saw places where famous people were born and important …
